Young's Upholstery was established over 50 years ago by Ross Young. Back then, Ross hand made his convertible tops and plastic seat covers insuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction. Because of his commitment to craftsmanship, Ross grew a large and loyal following in the Norfolk community. Approximately 30 years ago, Ross moved the business to its current location at 1318 E. Little Creek Road.
In 1993, Ross handed the reins of the business over to his son Billy. Billy expanded the business and became involved in both medical equipment and restaurant booth seat reupholstery. Because of this, Young's grew its customer base even further and cemented the Young's name as one of Norfolk's most well known and respected Upholstery firms.
In July of 2009, Billy and his wife Kathy decided to grow the business to the next level and entered into partnership with Mike Zalewski . Together they have continued the tradition of high craftsmanship and customer service that Ross Young established so many years ago. Bill, Mike and Kathy have further expanded Young's offerings. Young's now provides a full line of upholstery services to nearly all markets including home furnishing, marine, restaurant, medical, dental, airline, hotel, motel and nearly any other application. In April of 2011, Young's proudly opened a second location at 2428 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA. Like the original location, the Virginia Beach location offers a full line of upholstery services including Marine, Auto, Home Furniture and Commercial upholstery.
